When we started this venture 12 years ago these were the type of awards we dreamed of. Today for them to a reality is simply a dream come true. Tripadvisor Number 1 Hotel in Kenmare, McKennas Best in Ireland Guide 2016 and FIVE nominations in the Irish Restaurant Awards including Best Restaurant, Best Casual Dining, Best Customer Service, Best Gastro Pub & Best Hotel Restaurant.
Our vision was always very clear, quality, locally produced food in a homely, family run setting. This I feel is the backbone to our success along with the support of the local community in Kenmare. We have always believed in the merit of the farm to fork policy. We even breed our own Saddleback pigs on our farm just up to the road from the hotel which always go down a treat in Casey’s Brook Lane!
The coveted Tripadvisor Award really meant a lot to us as it is an award from our guests, the people who have stayed here, the people who have experienced first-hand what we are all about …. And loved it! With 22 uniquely designed bespoke bedrooms and suites the hotel really does cater to all age groups and needs. Being the only 4* hotel in Kenmare I think it is this boutique feel and personal touch to the smallest of details that give us an edge.
